• Process transactions and manage escrow payments
• Verify seller identities through NIN verification

3. NIN Data

Your National Identification Number is used solely for identity verification purposes and is submitted to Ninja API to confirm your identity. It is stored in your seller record and verification log for identity checks and manual review; it is not shown to buyers or other sellers.

Once verified, your NIN is not actively used in any ongoing operations.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

• Payment processing: Payment data is shared with Paystack to process transactions
• NIN verification: NIN data is shared with our verification partner solely for identity checks
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Nigerian law or court order
• Fraud prevention: We may share information with relevant authorities to prevent fraud

5. Data Security

We take data security seriously. We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit. Sensitive data including passwords and NINs are encrypted at rest. We regularly review our security practices.
